What is in the tin?

  • 4 booster packs from 30th Celebration
  • 1 holographic promo card: Greninja ex or Sylveon ex, depending on the version

According to the announcement, the promos are alternate reprints from 30th Celebration with exclusive illustrations. There is no official price yet.

Every tin holds four 30th Celebration boosters.

The two promo cards

Greninja ex (MEP 099) is a Stage 2 Pokémon with 300 HP that evolves from Frogadier. Its attack „Tarnschlitzer“ (German card name) costs just one Water Energy and does 30 damage for each damage counter on the opponent's Pokémon. It also has „Aquaschneide“ (German card name) for 160 damage with two Water Energy.

Sylveon ex (MEP 100) is a Stage 1 Pokémon with 270 HP that evolves from Eevee. Its attack „Bunte Harmonie“ (German card name) does 50 damage for each type of basic Energy attached to your Pokémon.

Tin or ex Collection?

The same two promo cards are also in the 30th Celebration ex Collection. Both products contain four boosters. The difference: the ex Collection adds an oversize version of the card, while the tin comes in a metal case with the Pikachu 30 logo that works well for storage. If you only want the promo and the boosters, either one does the job.

What this means for collectors

30th Celebration boosters are not sold on their own, only in boxes and collections like this one. Every tin is therefore a direct way into the set with its more than 190 holographic cards, including 33 Secret Rares and 30 exclusive Pikachu cards.
