Aura Seeker (M7): Everything about the new Japan set

Aura Seeker is the next Japanese main set of the Mega series and releases on 27.11.2026. Here is everything that is officially known so far: dates, prices, the key cards, new deck ideas and what makes the set interesting for collectors.

Quick answer: What is Aura Seeker?

Aura Seeker (Japanese ハドウシーカー, set code M7) is a Japanese main set of the Mega series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It releases in Japan on 27 November 2026. A booster contains 5 cards and costs 200 yen. The main set has 78 cards, plus rare variants such as AR, SR, SAR and MUR. The face of the set is Mega Lucario Z ex, whose Ability puts a Supporter card from your deck into your hand. Mega Garchomp Z ex and Mega Absol Z ex are also in the spotlight. For players, the official site also shows two new deck ideas built around Hawlucha and Crasher Wake. The most spectacular collector card so far is the SAR of Gym Leader Crasher Wake's Supporter card, drawn by Tetsuo Hara, the artist of Fist of the North Star. In the West the cards are due on 5 February 2027 as Flowing Fists according to pokezentrum; this date is not officially confirmed yet. Hong Kong and Taiwan follow on 4 December 2026 with their own sets and exclusive promos.

When does Aura Seeker release and what does it cost?

  • Japan: 27.11.2026, 200 yen per booster with 5 cards (official, pokemon-card.com).
  • Hong Kong and Taiwan: 04.12.2026. The Bonus Pack Set (495 HKD, about 56 €) contains 40 boosters, a card frame and a bonus booster with a holo promo. The 10 Pack Plus Set (143 HKD, about 16 €) brings 10 boosters, a deck box and a promo booster with 8 cards.
  • Thailand and Indonesia: There the cards are combined with Storm Emeralda in the set Double Storm Wave, releasing on 11.12.2026 (Indonesia) and 18.12.2026 (Thailand).
  • West: Flowing Fists, on 05.02.2027 according to pokezentrum. Mega Lucario Z ex carries the number 058/080 there. The date is not official yet.

Good to know: on 06.11.2026 The Pokémon Company announced that Japanese 5-card boosters will cost 230 instead of 200 yen from May 2027, due to rising material costs. Aura Seeker still releases at the old price.

Which cards are in the spotlight?

Three Mega Pokémon carry the set. All effects come from the official Japanese set page.

  • Mega Lucario Z ex (057), 330 HP: The Ability ハドウシーカー puts a Supporter card from your deck into your hand. The attack ダンシングフィスト does high damage against Pokémon ex.
  • Mega Garchomp Z ex (067), 360 HP: The attack ドラゴアベンジャー does 30 damage for each Dragon Pokémon in your discard pile, with no upper limit.
  • Mega Absol Z ex (030): The attack ブラッディフィアー does 160 damage. During their next turn your opponent cannot play Special Energy or Stadium cards from their hand.

Strong helpers join them: Sigilyph ex (031) takes no damage from attacks of the opponent's Mega Evolution ex. Meloetta (032) puts up to 3 Basic Pokémon from your deck onto your Bench. The Supporter card of Korrina (075) raises the damage of your Mega Evolution ex by 20 for each Prize card your opponent has already taken. Drampa (068) attaches a Basic Energy from your deck to a Dragon Pokémon while attacking, and Vibrava (063) can discard itself to look at the top card of your deck, which feeds Mega Garchomp Z ex even more.

Which decks does the official site show?

On 06.11.2026 pokemon-card.com presented two new deck ideas.

Guts Fight with Hawlucha: The Ability of Hawlucha (046) lowers the Energy cost of Pokémon with the attack ガッツファイト. With three Hawlucha in play, Machamp (039) deals 250 damage for one Fighting Energy. With two Hawlucha in play, Hitmontop (040) even attacks without any Energy.

Crasher Wake and Water: Floatzel ex (020) does 100 extra damage for each Crasher Wake card you reveal from your hand. Quagsire (018) reaches 140 damage for one Water Energy with one revealed Crasher Wake card. The Supporter card of Crasher Wake (076) shuffles a Water Pokémon and its attached cards back into your deck.

Which cards are interesting for collectors?

At the top is the Crasher Wake SAR (113) by Tetsuo Hara. It is only his second Pokémon card after Palafin ex, and the original will be on display at the Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo from 30.11.2026 to 11.01.2027. Beyond that, the Special Art and Mega Ultra Rare versions of the three Z Mega ex are the obvious chase cards, even though they have not been revealed yet. Interesting for fans of older generations: according to pokezentrum, Blastoise (016) is the first Blastoise card of the Mega series.

Is there a German version of Aura Seeker?

Yes, but later and under a different name. According to pokezentrum, the German versions of the cards appear in Flowing Fists, just as the cards from Storm Emeralda ended up in Delta Reign. Whether the Crasher Wake SAR is included is not known yet. Until then, Japanese boosters are the earliest way to get Mega Lucario Z ex, Crasher Wake and the new deck cards.

Is Aura Seeker from Japan worth it?

If you don't want to wait until February, you get the cards in Japan a good ten weeks earlier. Japanese boosters are smaller with 5 cards but cheaper per pack, and collectors consider their print quality particularly good. Timing matters: Japanese sets often sell out quickly at release, and new stock only comes with a reprint. If you want a guaranteed display, preorder early.
