Aura Seeker: New Mega Set Starring Mega Lucario ex

The Pokémon Company has announced Aura Seeker (Japanese Hadou Seeker, ハドウシーカー), the next Japanese Mega set. It launches in Japan on 27 November 2026 and puts Mega Lucario ex front and center.

What is confirmed so far

  • Japanese release: 27 November 2026 (Friday).
  • Headliner: Mega Lucario ex, a Fighting-type Pokémon.
  • The set belongs to the ongoing Mega block and follows Storm Emeralda (M6), which launched in Japan on 31 July 2026.
  • The name Aura Seeker refers to Lucario's aura (Japanese Hadou), the blue energy Lucario wields.

What is still open

  • The full card list, the exact box configuration and an official product image are still to come. More reveals will follow closer to release.
  • A Western version has not been officially dated yet. It is expected in early 2027, several months after the Japanese launch.

What this means for buyers

If you want Mega Lucario ex early, plan to import the Japanese version for late November. The Western edition is expected only in early 2027. That is the same lead time as with Storm Emeralda, where the Japanese version arrived months ahead of the Western one.
