A new entry level product has been announced for the Chinese market: the Combination Set Gyarados & Typhlosion launches on 16 October 2026 with a recommended price of 88 Yuan, around 11.50 euros. The set carries the set code CSVH6C.

What is in the box

The product is aimed at new players and delivers everything needed for the first games:

  • Four ready-to-play 60 card decks featuring Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex, Cynthia's Garchomp, Misty's Gyarados and Ethan's Typhlosion
  • Instruction material with simplified rules and a step by step battle guide
  • Transformation Packs, boosters with ten cards full of helpful Pokémon and Trainer cards
  • Reward Packs with holographic Energy or Pokémon ex cards carrying an exclusive stamp
  • Seven Happy Packs with two random holo cards each, including possible Poké Ball and Master Ball patterns

The four decks

The card list reads like a cross section of popular Trainer and Pokémon combinations. Alongside the four leaders it includes Team Rocket's Spidops (003/054), Misty's Psyduck (009/054), Lucario (022/054) and the Trainer card Ethan's Adventure (047/054).

The smaller variant

A Combination Deck launches alongside it for 20 Yuan, around 2.60 euros. It contains exactly one of the four 60 card decks, and which one is random.

What this means for collectors

The cards are Simplified Chinese exclusives and will not be released in German or English. They are interesting regardless: Chinese exclusive products have gained noticeable collector interest over the last two years because they are only available outside China through importers. Anyone specifically collecting regional variants should mark 16 October. There is currently no German source, the route goes through importers.
