A new set of the Mega series is coming to Thailand and Indonesia: Double Storm Wave (MA7), named Aura Badai in Indonesia. It releases on 11.12.2026 in Indonesia and one week later, on 18.12.2026, in Thailand. The focus is on Mega Rayquaza ex and Mega Lucario Z ex.

What is in the set?

Double Storm Wave is the seventh main expansion of the Thai Mega series. It combines the two Japanese sets Storm Emeralda and Aura Seeker and has 174 cards in the main set plus Secret Rares. The two Japanese sets have 154 cards combined, so Double Storm Wave has 20 more. pokezentrum suspects the extra cards come from the Japanese Mega ex Starter Decks; this is not confirmed. The booster artwork combines the covers of both Japanese sets.

  • 5 cards per booster
  • Suggested retail price in Thailand: 49 baht per booster (about 1.30 €)
  • Shown so far: Mega Rayquaza ex 149/174, Mega Lucario Z ex 123/174, Mega Garchomp Z ex 133/174, Talonflame ex 155/174
  • Secret Rares have not been revealed yet. pokezentrum expects the Mega Rayquaza ex illustration from Storm Emeralda.

What does this mean for collectors in Germany?

The cards from Double Storm Wave come to us in German in two sets: Delta Reign (available since 06.11.2026) and Flowing Fists (05.02.2027 according to pokezentrum, not yet official). The Thai version is mainly interesting for collectors of Asian language versions and for the promos that only come in the Special Sets. At 1.30 € per booster it is also one of the cheapest ways to pull Mega Rayquaza ex and Mega Lucario Z ex, import costs not included.
