Legendary Trench: the double Stadium from Delta Reign

The card wave of 22 September 2026 from Delta Reign (German: Delta-Herrschaft) includes a Stadium card that works unlike anything else on a Standard table: the Legendary Trench. Two new Supporters came with it.

One Stadium card made of two cards

The card text is explicit: you cannot play this card by itself. You must combine 2 different Legendary Trench cards from your hand to play them as 1 Stadium card. Two copies of the same number are not enough, you need 098/103 and 099/103 in hand at the same time.

The effect: whenever a Pokémon in play is healed, yours or your opponent's, the amount of HP healed is doubled.

What the effect does in practice

Every healing source in the deck becomes twice as strong. That includes cards from the same wave: Wishiwashi ex 029/103 heals 50 damage from itself with its Sea Gift Ability, which becomes 100 under the Trench. The new Supporter Grisham 093/103 heals 50 damage from every Pokémon in play, both yours and your opponent's. Together that makes a deck very hard to close out.

The catch is consistency. You need two specific cards in hand at the same time, and because the effect heals both sides it can work against you. This is a deck-building block for one archetype rather than a card that fits anywhere.

Aarune 089/103

The Supporter Aarune searches your deck for any combination of up to 3 Supporter and Stadium cards, reveals them and puts them into your hand. That is exactly what the double Stadium needs: it can fetch both Trench halves in one turn.

Grisham 093/103

Grisham heals 50 damage from every Pokémon, yours and your opponent's. On its own that is a shaky card. In a Trench deck it turns into a full board heal.

Date

Delta Reign releases on 6 November 2026 with 103 regular cards plus secret rares. The combinable Legendary Stadiums are this set's mechanical theme and will be the most interesting part for tournament players.
