Pokémon TCG Pocket: New Merch from Japan in September

The Pokémon Company has revealed a new merchandise collection for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket app in Japan. It is the second official Pocket collection, and this time a few pieces are interesting for card collectors who do not use the app at all.

When and where the collection drops

Sales start on 24 September 2026 at the Japanese Pokémon Center Online. From 26 September 2026 the items are also available in Pokémon Center stores across Japan. The collection is a Japan exclusive, there is no European release. Anyone who wants a piece needs an import.

The designs come from the Pocket expansions of Series B, specifically Fire Red Flames, Everyday Wonders and Pulsing Aura.

The 3D immersive cards are the highlight

Three items turn the app's immersive cards into layered paper dioramas: Eevee ex, Suicune ex and Mega Gardevoir ex. Each standee costs 5,500 yen, around 30.30 euros. The card layout stays intact, including the frame and the HP value, only built in several layers behind one another instead of printed flat.

For collectors this is the most interesting position in the collection, because it is a physical version of something that only existed digitally until now.

LED lamp shaped like the pack hourglass

The second standout piece is the LED lamp shaped like the pack hourglass at 6,600 yen, about 36.50 euros. It is the most expensive single item in the collection and glows blue from below through the hourglass.

What this means for collectors in Europe

Pokémon Center Japan stock regularly sells out fast and can only be obtained through proxy services or import dealers. Shipping and import duties come on top, so in practice the final price sits well above the yen figure. Anyone who wants the 3D standees should keep an eye on 24 September, because the first batch usually goes the quickest.

Pokémon Center exclusives are rarely reprinted. After that the secondary market sets the price.
