RGB Mew: The Secret Cards from 30th Celebration

Three secret Mew cards have surfaced from early openings of 30th Celebration, one each in red, green and blue. They are a direct tribute to the Game Boy classics Pokémon Red, Green and Blue from 1996, and already rank among the most sought-after chase cards of the anniversary set.

The three designs are the work of Japanese artist YOSHIROTTEN. Each card shows Mew in one of the three classic game colors and carries its own Secret Rare symbol. One detail stands out: the three cards lack the yellow 30th anniversary logo that every other card in the set wears.

Why they are not on the official list yet

The three Mew do not appear on the official card list published on September 9. In Japan, The Pokémon Company often adds such Secret Rares officially only with the following set. In the meantime they have already been pulled from early packs and documented by PokeBeach and pokezentrum. A concrete pull rate is not officially confirmed, but the cards are considered extremely rare.

What it means for collectors

30th Celebration launches worldwide simultaneously on September 16, 2026, for the first time in the history of the trading card game. Anyone opening displays will be hunting exactly these three Mew: as hidden top chase cards, they are likely to move the secondary market noticeably. If you are hoping for them, it is best to plan your purchase early, since displays are usually cheapest in the first days after release.
